As the Executive Director for The Promise FM my prayer is to see our station have a Kingdom impact on our communities all across Northern Michigan, Ontario and around the globe. Married 38 years to my amazing wife Carol, and blessed with 4 wonderful children; Joshua our oldest, married to our amazing daughter-in-law Samantha, and our beautiful grand-daughter Ava, Jeremy our PGA professional who travels between Michigan and Florida, our youngest son Jonathan married to our amazing daughter-in-law Mariah and our daughter Elisabeth Ashley who is home with the Lord. “Never doubt in the dark what God has clearly shown you in the light!”

Born and raised in northern Michigan, I have worked at the Promise FM since October 2014. My husband, Nick and I are blessed with four young, rambunctious children that we thank God for everyday. They provide constant energy that keeps us on our toes – we would not have it any other way. I’m so thankful to be a part of God’s work at the Promise FM and I love how much I’ve grown in my walk with Jesus and look forward to what He has in store for this ministry!

Program Director & Host of The Afternoon Drive on The Promise FM

Fred loves to help you come closer to Jesus each weekday afternoon! He’s been blessed to be part of some wonderful and award-winning Christian radio ministries, and now he brings that same warm, energetic style of ministry to Northern Michigan and Ontario! Fred is blessed with three amazing children – Ashleigh, Logan, and Keira. Fred truly loves being part of God’s ministry through radio, saying, “I’m thankful for each moment spent with you on the radio, and for what God is doing in us as we ‘do life’ together every day!”

Co-Host of The Morning Perk on The Promise FM

Wife, Mama, and Nanny are Sarah's favorite titles! Sarah is the author of A Journey Called Grief and has traveled the US encouraging people that they can make it through whatever lands on their doorstep by nuzzling into Jesus. Sarah is an exercise enthusiast and a lover of lake life!

Fun Fact: Sarah charted #30 on the 2008 Billboard charts with her song "Christmas In Heaven".

Sarah's Life Verse is Psalm 46:5, “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.”

Dennis Hutchinson

Assistant Program Director and Co-Host of The Morning Perk on The Promise FM

Dennis Hutchinson, the Assistant Program Director and a beloved host on The Morning Perk, is a beacon of positivity and inspiration. With over three decades of experience in broadcasting, Dennis has dedicated his life to spreading the message of hope and faith.

Beyond the microphone, Dennis's heart beats for service, as evidenced by his work empowering young girls in Guatemala to pursue their dreams. From winning Elvis contests to finding solace in the great outdoors, Dennis's life is a testament to embracing adventure and living each day to the fullest.

I am incredibly happy to be a part of The Promise FM! My husband Scott, my son Alex and I moved to Michigan from Arizona because we believe God is doing great things here and we want to be a part of His blessing! I’ve been serving in many aspects of Christian radio for 16 years and my favorite thing is getting the opportunity to pray for The Promise FM family. I’m passionate about writing, old 80’s comedies, traveling locally and seeing lives transformed by Jesus.

Dave Schreiber

Weekend Host

I was born in Evansville, Indiana, but have lived in Kentucky, Texas, Missouri, Iowa and Arizona prior to joining the Promise FM. Being able to combine the opportunity to work in radio and share the love of Jesus with others makes every day a blessing for me.

Before catching the radio bug I received much of my training in production and sound by working as an audio engineer and lead guitarist while traveling with bands all over the country. I love being outdoors and get out to hike and run every chance I get. I have two cats, Hunter and Abigail, who basically rule the house and are gracious enough to let me live there. A couple of my favorite verses are Psalm 33:4 and Jeremiah 29:11.

I’m really excited to be part of The Promise FM family, and see the power of what God is doing through this ministry. I’m originally from rural Northern Pennsylvania, and then lived in Arizona for many years. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Kelly since 2007, and though I wasn’t raised in the Church, she brought me to the Lord and I began my walk with Christ about 10 years ago. I’m a HUGE music fan, and a total tourist at heart: I love looking up an area, bookmarking places to visit, enjoying local stores and restaurants, and taking a ton of pictures.

I've learned you're never too old to grow with Jesus. He'll use us, If we're willing, until our last breath. I've been listening to Christian radio since I accepted Christ in 1987. My husband, Scot and I, moved to Northern Michigan 9 years ago. We have three adult sons and three grandsons. Justin is married to Elizabeth and they have our oldest grandson, Gavin. Kellen is married to Katie and they have Brantlee and Brooks. Our youngest son Bryce lives in San Diego and loves it there. I enjoy being outdoors in God's creation walking trails or on the water in a boat. I feel so blessed to be working with the gifted and wonderful team of individuals with Northern Christian Radio and its business partners.

Heather finds fulfillment in her family and passions. With four grown children and a devoted marriage, Heather's greatest achievement is nurturing her family while maintaining a strong relationship with her spouse. She enjoys cooking, playing golf, and assisting others in her spare time. Heather's unique talent lies in her ability to recite all 50 states in alphabetical order. Guided by the mantra, "Do your best and let God take care of the rest," she approaches life with faith and resilience.

Tom Lewis

On-Air Special Guest

Tom Lewis has been in fundraising and ministry for over 25 years. He attended Kansas State University for Architecture, but then discovered God had a different direction for him, Broadcasting.

Tom has been faithfully married to Gwendolyn for 36 years – as of August 1st. They have a spoiled little Morkie named Sophie, better known as Princess Sophie. Tom also has three kids, who are all married, and has three wonderful grand kids.

Fishing, lake time, hunting and remote control aircraft are his hobbies, along with classic cars. He plays golf, but isn’t very good at it! One little known fact about Tom Lewis, he loves woodworking and building things. He even built his lake house himself!
