What is your job at NCR and when did you start here?

Tell us about your family and pets.

I have been blessed with a wonderful family. I often state that I am the luckiest man alive. Jennifer, my wife, is not only a beautiful person, but she is truly Heaven sent. Chelsea is my girl. She is the oldest of our three kids. She is smart, beautiful like her mother and always bringing me smiles. Taylor is our middle child. He is quiet and thoughtful, yet very funny. Dinners at the table are always a treat with him. Our youngest child is Derek. What a warm heart! He is fun and lively and very focused on others. As far as pets, we have two mutts; Buster and Lady.

 What is your favorite Bible Verse?

One verse that really sticks with me is in John 15:17, “This is my command: Love each other.” I think this is beautiful in the fact that it is very clear.

Where else have you lived and worked?

I have lived most of my life in Northern Michigan. I love it here! Not only is it beautiful, but the people are incredible. I have worked most recently in the mortgage business. Prior to banking I owned a real estate appraisal business.

How did you get started in Christian Radio?

This is my first opportunity to work in Christian Radio and I am very excited to be able to help in such a wonderful ministry. When I hear the stories and read the letters of how NCR is helping others I am encouraged each day to do all that I can to make sure this ministry stays strong and available for everyone.

Name your favorite artists.

Some of my favorite artists are Casting Crowns, Toby Mac / DC Talk, and lately I really like Brandon Heath.

If you could do anything else for a living, what else would you do?

I have always thought that if I started over I would have been a teacher. I love being around kids and helping them become all that they dream they can be.
