What is your job and when did you start here?

I walked thru the door as an official employee in August of 2008. I’m on the air from 3pm-8pm Monday-Friday on The Promise FM and I’m also the Production/Imaging Director…which means that the spots where Patrick does something bizarre, like collecting beanie babies or shooting a tree stump, yea, I wrote those. Haha

Tell us about your family and pets.

I’m very close with my family, which is a blessing. They keep me grounded and encourage me. Plus I inheritated my love for animals from my family. My pets consist of 2 dogs and 2 cats, which you’ll hear me talk about A LOT on the Promise FM.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?

Philippians 3:12-14. Two different people at church spoke this verse into my life. It’s a daily reminder that I can let the past go, and keep moving forward, struggles and all, because God is with me.

Where else have you lived and worked?

Other than a brief time in Indiana I have lived in Michigan. I’ve been in radio since 1992. I’ve also worked in landscaping, at a video store, on my grandparents farm, a feed mill, and a grocery store.

If you could do anything else for a living, what else would you do?

I’ve tried other things, and keep coming back to radio. It gets in your blood from the start and then you’re hooked. Although I haven’t tried being a Dog Whisperer yet….hmmmmm
